Find The Right Fit For You

We are fortunate to have several running clubs and the best running store in the South Bay, Village Runner. They are a great way for people to be accountable, help train for races and enjoy overall camaraderie with fellow runners. Read on to find out about ones we recommend.

South Bay Runners Club

The South Bay Runners Club (SBRC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit, all-volunteer organization that unites runners and walkers in Southern California. As part of the Road Runners Clubs of America (RRCA) and USA Track & Field (USATF  Club #33-0767), they offer year round training including distance runs, an interval training track workout, recreational and travel activities, and social gatherings.

They have RRCA and USATF Certified Coaches who advise on proper training and techniques for improved performance. Whether you are trying to qualify for the Boston Marathon or simply improve your performance, they have a training plan for you. They also have a Registered Dietitian to answer any nutrition related questions you might have. Click the blue button below to learn more about SBRC.

Club Ed

Club Ed Running is a community running club located in the South Bay Beach Cities region of Los Angeles. Their goal is to help runners of all ages and fitness enjoy the sport of running at all levels of speed, experience, and talent. They provide organized venues for members to train and experienced guidance to help runners of all levels improve. With a low-key approach to personal improvement fueled by each runner’s individual motivation, the club provides a way for new runners to meet other local runners, discover new places to run, and to learn and practice better ways to train. It also encourages support of the local running community by helping out at local races and encouraging members to challenge themselves through periodic racing. While Village Runner doesn’t have official running groups happening at the moment, they are our favorite running store for so many reasons! We support this running store that supports numerous local events. We hope you keep them in mind when you need gear so we can keep great events like the MB10k, the Village Runner Independence Day Run and St. Patrick's Day run thriving in our community.

They are a specialty running store operating in the South Bay for over 30 years, dedicated to helping the local community get fitted properly for running shoes and apparel and on their way to achieving their running and walking goals! Every employee has years of running and/or coaching experience under their water belt, so stop on by for knowledgeable advice, tips, and running camaraderie! Their Manhattan Beach location is kind enough to host in store registration for the MB10k in September every year. More info coming soon about that.

Who’s In?

Last year, during our Special Edition of the the MB10k, we started a page on our website called Who’s In? It was so popular that we’ve decided to keep it! When you register for the 2021 race your name will be added to this page to show your support, and it will also be on social media.  The world will know you and yours were a part of our rich history.

THANK YOU for being part of our 44th year!  Click the blue button below to see who’s in so far.
